A sneak peek as Germany competes against Sweden for the gold medal The men’s beach volleyball gold medal match for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, at Champ de Mars.

Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler of Germany will take on David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig of Sweden to determine the new champion.

The bronze medal match pits Qatar’s Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan against Norway’s Anders Berntsen Mol and Christian Sandlie Sorum, the gold medalists from Tokyo 2020.

A reprise of the great energy from the spectators during the women’s final could be expected when the Champs de Mars Stadium gets packed for Paris 2024’s final men’s beach volleyball celebration.

Germany accepts the invitation.

2012 saw Germany win gold in beach volleyball in London. However, the two had to defeat the reigning Olympic champions from Norway in the semifinal in order to go to the Paris 2024 final.

After three sets, Ehlers and Wickler defeated Norway 21-13, 17-21, and 15-13. The German pair’s successful net-fault challenge ended the Norwegians’ hopes of winning gold twice in a row.

“It was a tight game, we had to take the challenge because it’s win or lose,” Olympic competitor Ehlers stated.I’m at a loss for words. We may try going for the gold.

It’s amazing. “We were fighting as a team and that has been the key to our success at the Olympics so far,” says Wickler, who was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Wickler claims that this time he never questioned the pair’s potential to win the semi-final and move on to the gold medal match.

Is Sweden able to outpace Germany?

Ahman and Hellvig, the 22-year-old Swedish jump setters, were the top seeds going into Paris, and their resounding 21-13, 21-17 victory over Qatar has shown just how fierce they are.

Their success has largely been attributed to the Swedish jump set technique.People didn’t initially think it would work on the world tour, but we persisted in having faith in it so that we could later show them that it works.

Making it to the final, according to Hellvig, feels amazing: It’s hard for me to believe. Realizing we made it to the final will take some time.

Whatever happens in the gold medal match, it will be historic for Sweden because it will be the nation’s first beach volleyball Olympic medal.
